COURSE
PohlCat, located in the heart of Michigan, is a championship-style course played over, and around, the scenic 100-foot wide Chippewa River. The course was designed by former PGA Tour pro, and Mt. Pleasant native, Dan Pohl. There are plenty of similarities between the great PGA Tour courses Dan played and the tough, but fair, design of PohlCat.
This design offers players a unique golfing experience by combining beautiful northern Michigan scenery with a links-style feel. Since opening in 1992, this par-72 course has become a “must play” for golfers all over Michigan and its surrounding areas.
Practice Facility
PohlCat offers golfers one of the area’s most expansive practice facilities. Featuring a driving range, chipping green and two putting greens. This area was designed to give golfers the opportunity to practice shots/putts they will experience on the course.
